Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora dies by suicide

Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, reportedly died by suicide on Wednesday morning by jumping from sixth floor of a residential building in Bandra, Mumbai. The actor’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan and senior police officers were seen at her residence. As per sources, the body has been sent for post-mortem and a probe is underway. The incident reportedly took place at around 10.30 am at their family residence, Ayesha Manor in Mumbai’s Bandra West.

Sources close to Malaika, however, claimed it was an accident. “It’s an accident. We will be sharing the police panchanama once we receive it,” they told indianexpress.com. According to reports, Malaika was in Pune when the incident happened and she reached her parents’ home in Bandra following her father’s untimely demise. Arbaaz Khan’s parents Salim Khan-Salma Khan and his brother Sohail Khan also arrived at the residence. Arjun Kapoor also reached Anil’s house.
